MORE TRAVEL INSPIRATIONS
Whether you are taking that trip of a lifetime or just doing a weekend jaunt – capturing those moments with a photo book will make the memories last forever. Here are some other theme ideas that you might incorporate into a unique one-of-a-kind digital photo book.
1) Cities you have visited. Go through all your photos and organize them into different cities or maybe countries you have visited. Devote a double page spread or even a few pages to each city using lots of pictures and text. Describe what you see in the pictures and what they mean to you. Relate funny stories from your travels and you can find additional information about these places by doing a Google search. It makes it more interesting if you add some extra details about the location and helps make it a book of interest to others.
2) Book Of Historical Sites.Maybe you just came back from visiting the European city of Prague. What an interesting book you could make to show your friends, detailing your trip and all the beautiful sites and building you saw. Include information about these site and maybe some historical information that you can find on Google. Use scenery pictures as backgrounds and use the fade tool in our free photobook software to soften these background images and then add other photos on top. Another good idea is to use the sepia and black and white tool to make pictures look old. You may chose to use only black or white as your background and let the pictures tell your story. Use the drop shadow on all your pictures so that they will look three dimensional on the paper and use a consistent size border and border color.
3) Interesting People. Here is another get theme. When you travel, you will see different cultures, different traditions. Select photos from past trips of indigenous people from countries you have visited. They may have unique clothing or different looks that make them interesting. Maybe you took a picture of an old man with a pipe in his mouth and he left an impression on you that you will never forget. What an interesting book you can make showing people smiling, people crying, people living their lives in different ways. You will be surprised that these simple pictures all but together help tell a story of you own growth from travel. What a great coffee table book this would make.
4) Nature Book or Architecture & MuseumsIn your travels you probably have taken tons of pictures of trees, flowers, rocks, water, clouds and beautiful sunsets. What a great coffee table book you can make using all these pictures that just sit in a box gathering dust and never appreciated. A PICTURE TELLS A THOUSAND WORDS so make your book clean and simple letting the beautiful pictures tell the story. Add occasional text for places and dates. You will be surprised with the results – you will have a picture book as good as you might purchase at a book store. What a wonderful gift this could be for family and friends.
