Celebrate your baby’s arrival with a very special Birth-Day Book that you can share with all your family members. Gather pictures of the day of your baby’s birth from friends and family who came to celebrate the event with you. Create a one-of-a-kind photobook using the Print-ibles FREE “My Photo Book” software, using a boy or girl theme. Take pictures of flowers received, scan note cards and make special pages for gifts given to the new baby. Add some pictures of these gifts and maybe use some of these pictures for backgrounds and fade to 50% or use the sepia tool to add interest.
Tell your story of going to the hospital and journal things you would like to remember about that day. Show pictures taken of baby with his or her new mom and dad and other family members. What a great project to start as soon as you come home from the hospital and are spending your days with the new arrival. This book will make a great gift for new grandma’s and grandpa’s along with other members of the family. Mini sized 5 x 5 books are a great size to carry in a pocket or purse to help give brag rights and make a 10 x 10 as a keepsake for baby to read many years later.
Get creative and make a page that looks like the headline of your local newspaper. You can scan the newspaper logo or reproduce it if you know what font it was designed with. Re-create your birth announcement and add pictures that would make it look like a news article in the paper.
