1. What type of paper is used in the photo books?
PRINT-IBLES uses premium quality Xerox. Our pages are printed on 100lb. Elite Silk or Elite Gloss, SFI Certified archival quality papers
2. Does the colour shift during production?
Colour consistency and accuracy is our first priority.. But slight shifts in colour can occur from batch to batch. Our frequent calibration helps to minimize any shifts. We are printing with a RGB colour process
3. What about discolouration and colour fading?
We use special inks that outlast the life of widely used press inks. Depending on the style of book we print with Xerox printers and inks and for all Flushmount books we print with Epson Professional Printers and UltraChome Inks.
4. Can I make changes after placing orders?
No changes can be made after your order has been submitted and accepted. Once your files have been uploaded to the production center, they cannot be changed and production of your book cannot be stopped. Therefore, carefully review all of the pages before submitting your order. If the job has not been printed (usually within 24 hours from the order time), we can assist to do minor changes, but there will be a surcharge.
5. Can I cancel my order at any time?
No. Once your order has been processed, it cannot be cancelled.

Questions on Making Photo Book
7. How do I make a photo book?
PRINT-IBLES provides you with FREE photo-editing software that you can download from our website. This software allows you to select a photo book size, attach your digital pictures into the pages of the book, and add in backgrounds, special effects, text and captions to complete your design. When your book is completed, with a click of a button, the software will send the order to us via the Internet or you can mail a CD with order form or visit our Flag Ship Store in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
8. How do I choose which photo book type and size I want?
When you launch the software, you will need to select the type of book or product you like. You may refer to our website for more detailed information on the products. Please read carefully when choosing, as each size comes in Custom HardCover, Custom SoftCover, Custom HardCover Layflat. There is a difference between each in the printing. Also when choosing the Wire-O-Binding use Custom Hard Cover as your book type and size.
9. How does the Fast Track option work?
When you click on FastTrack, you will be asked to select the type of book you like and select all the pictures that you want to use. We also have various themes that you can choose from. The software has an intelligent tool to quickly arrange your pictures in a professional layout for you. Further changes and adjustments can then be made with the addition of more pictures, backgrounds or text. Your design can be ready in less than an hour!
10. Can I change the selected photo book size?
Yes. You can change to a different book size with similar page orientation. For example, from a Large Landscape to a Medium or Small Landscape. You can’t change from a landscape book to a square or portrait. Go to ‘Edit’ at the main toolbar, then select ‘Change Book’.
11. How do I drag a selected picture into a page?
First select the page. then the the photo templates (frames).Then select the picture you want by clicking on the picture and dragging it into the selected space.
12. Can I adjust the frames in a page?
Yes. All the photo templates (frames) are readily created for your convenience. Some have a text template for you to add your wording. Photo templates can be removed or added, and their sizes and shapes can be edited. They are fixed in the width:height ratio by default. However, you can enlarge the frame by selecting it and dragging on any of the anchor points at the corners. The width or the height will be enlarged or reduced accordingly.
13. How do I remove or add in picture boxes?
To remove a particular object from a page, whether it’s a picture or a text box, just select the object and press DELETE. To add in a new photo template, select the page where you want the picture to be, followed by selecting the ‘Add picture frame’ icon on the top toolbar. Then create the frame on the page. You can adjust the size, shape and position of the new frame.
14. How does the picture fit into a particular frame?
When you drag-and-drop a picture into a particular frame, the picture will be fitted automatically (either enlarged or reduced) to the width or to the height of the frame, whichever is larger.
15. How do I edit the picture I have placed?
Double click on the picture and a mini toolbar would appear. Those icons on the toolbar allow you to edit your picture.
16. How do I change the layout of a page?
Go to ‘Page Layout’, select your desired layout, then drag-and-drop it on the selected page.
17. How do I insert a background to the page?
Go to ‘Page Background’, select your desired background, then drag-and-drop it on the selected page.
18. Can I use a picture as a background?
Yes! You can creatively use a picture as a background by dragging the picture to the background area. Alternatively, you can have the picture as a solid background and insert a smaller sized picture as a semi-transparent foreground by adjusting the transparency value for each. We have a large selection of backgrounds in our software and you can use any file that is in a jpeg format by adding it in Picture layouts. Using your right mouse button, click and you will see a variety of options to complete your background image.
19. Will the frame be printed if I don’t place any text or photograph in it?
Yes. Picture and text frames will be printed if the frame does not contain a photograph or text. Be sure to delete any unwanted frames.
20. Can I change the number of pages?
A standard photo book is 24 pages/12 leafs by default. (2 pages equals one leaf). Custom Hardcover Layflat (Flushmound books) are a standard 12 panoramic pages (1 panorama page equals one left & right side. Standard books can be printed up to 100 pages (50 leaf) and panoramic up to 20 panoramic pages. On tool bar that shows you book pages, click on left or right side of double page where you would like to add 2 new pages, then go to upper tool bar and click on Insert – Add New Page.
21. How many images can I place on each page/side?
You may place as many images as you would like.
22. Is my content secure and/or private?
Your personal data, including the digital pictures you voluntarily provide, will be used only for the purpose for which you have provided them, and they will not be shared or disclosed to third parties without your consent. Please do not use content that would not be suitable for printing or unlawful.
23. At what resolution should my files be saved in?
You should save your files in high resolution, at 240 dpi.
24. How do I use a border for my picture?
Go to ‘Picture Borders’, select a picture border then drag-and-drop it on your selected picture. There are many colors and thickness of borders.
25. Can I add a border to a full-bleed page?
No. You can’t use a border for a full-bleed picture.
26. Can I build my own book templates and layouts?
Yes. You can create your layout and save them as new templates for a re-use. Go to File at the main toolbar, select ‘Save Page as Layout’. It will be saved into the library of templates.
27.Can I import my own design into My Photobooks Editor?
Yes. If you are designing your full page from another software, be sure to follow the exact dimension of the page so that the full image will be visible.
28. What colour profile should I use for my images?
Please complete all post-production in either RGB or Adobe AGB working space.
29. How do I rearrange pages in my book?
Drag-and-drop the selected page on your desired position.
30. Do your hardcover book covers have wrap-a-round photos?
Yes. Although in the software the Front page is at beginning and Back Cover is at end they are tied together and printed as one. We suggest you make cover after you complete your book. Add photos, templates and backgrounds to design a professional book cover. Look for our tutorials on book cover designing. Your cover looks best if you start by choosing a photo image or background and making it as a 2-page spread. It will populate to the front and back cover. Then create your design individually. In the shopping cart there is an option to add text to the spine at no extra charge.
31. How do I add a duplicate layout?
Select File > Save Page As Layout. The layout that you have created will be saved in the library and appear together with the rest of the layouts. Make your custom template either by adding landscape and portrait template frame by using right click of mouse, Insert and choose multiple of frame, move and size, or use existing template frame and change at will, then save before you add pictures. It will save with all other templates for your further use.
32. How can I improve image quality?
PRINT-IBLES “My Photo Book” has a wonderful Image Enhancement tool. Either in upper tool bar under “Format” Image Enhancement or with right click of mouse, you will find this tool. A must to use. You can enhance each picture individually or wait until you are done and do all at one time and all your pictures will become richer in detail and more vivid in color. You can also remove this option at will. This is an automatic tool that takes the place of having to edit your picture quality in other programs. We suggest you use this so that your pictures have the best quality in printing. We cannot do this option once you have sent us your files.
