Print-ibles Quality Printed Products
1. SELECT BOOK STYLE/COVER. 
Select your photobook size/cover style from the drop down. There are 19 styles in Custom hard cover, 19 styles in Custom softcover, and 12 styles in Custom Hardcover Lay-flat (Flush Mount Albums).
2. LOADING PICTURES
Next the beginning of your digital photobook comes up. At bottom left you load your images. It is best to have selected your images ahead and have them in a folder on
your computer. Save your images in JPG format and rename each picture numerically, so that they will appear in the intended order when you load them into the “Book Pictures” tray. Now you are ready to go.
3. ADDING IMAGES TO PAGES
At the top of the screen you will see your pages starting with the front cover and ending with the back cover. We suggest you leave your cover to the end of your project. You will see at bottom of screen, page layouts, page backgrounds, picture borders and book templates – all can be used in creating your book. Click on first page and begin using these features and drag and drop your pictures. Images can be made portrait, landscape, individually or in multiples. An image can be used as a background image by right clicking your mouse and making a single page background or except on the first page, you can do a double page spread. You can fade your images and you can add additional page layouts on top for more images. You can add additional pages where ever you want.
PLEASE NOTE: Keep all images and text at least 3/8″ from all edges as this is a bleed area that will be cut in production. Also, since books are bound with a center cutter, keep all images and text 1/2″ from center edge so it will not get lost. The exception to this on the lay-flat flush mount photobooks, which are a special panoramic double page with no gutter on hard stock. On all 2 page spreads, we suggest you use landscape images for backgrounds and keep faces and other important visuals out of cutter area.
4. CROP, RESIZE, ROTATE
You can crop, re-size and rotate your images anyway you want with a click of your mouse. There are several ways to do that same step. Familiarize yourself with all the tool bars and all the one click options available. The right click of your mouse button also gives you easy to use tools including adding a drop shadow to your images and frames, fade option and our special “PERFECTLY CLEAR IMAGE” option. The picture borders consist of many colors and sizes of frames. All of these features are drag and drop for your convenience. Get to know your page layout and background options.
5. EDITING IMAGES
There are some wonderful features to explore that will make your images pop in your photobook. You can change your color image with a click to sepia or to a black and white picture. You can also apply our special “Perfectly Clear Image” option to sharpen images, give more contrast or lighten images.
6. INSERT TEXT
With our insert caption tool you can add text anywhere on the page. Click on the corner dots to enlarge the text area for more space. You can change the font style, size and color. When the text box appears, double click with the left mouse button and your text box is ready for you to type your message. When finished, click outside the text box and you can move text to any area in the page. If you need to edit, just double click again.
7. BACKGROUNDS & TEMPLATES
You can use any of your pictures as backgrounds including any other images you have in a JPG format ( eg. scanned images – use your imagination, the possibilities are limitless.) Import into the Book Picture area and drag and drop on pages. There are many backgrounds included in the software and look on our web site for free background options. Picture layouts give you many template options but you can also add additional portrait or landscape image templates individually as well as add extra pages.
8. FRONT & BACK COVER
Now is the time when your true inner designer comes into play. Although the front cover is at the beginning and the back cover is at the end, they are tied together as one. You can start at front cover, drag an image onto it, right click and add it as a double page spread, click and like magic, it will be on the back cover also. You then can do everything the same as you would on any inner page. You can add more images, text etc on front and back. You can also design cover with background images instead of pictures and add extra templates to populate with photo images. Remember the cover is what will impress, so go all out. Look on our web site for cover ideas and instructions.
MOST IMPORTANT: When in the shopping cart, you will see an option at no additional cost, to ADD A SPINE TEXT. This should be the same as your title of the book.
9. REVIEW & PLACE ORDER
When you are finished with your book, review all pages and make any changes required. Then click on the SEND TO PRINT-IBLES tab. A high quality proof will come up and tell you of any issues that may arise. It will show if there are any empty pages as well as letting you know if there are any low resolution pictures. The higher the resolution, the better. DO NOT GO BELOW 72 DPI. REMEMBER WE CAN NOT MAKE YOUR IMAGES BETTER THAN WHAT YOU SEND. MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT BLURRY IMAGES AND QUALITY OF COLOR IS TO YOUR LIKING. (Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view the proof file in PDF). Proceed with ordering. You must put check box mark approving your book. Next comes 2 options – for internet sales click on “Place Order Online Now” – if you are in the Ft. Lauderdale area, you have a 2nd option – you can put your finished book on a memory device or CD and bring it to our studio for printing.
10. MAKE PAYMENT
You will now enter our shopping cart system. For your convenience and security all online sales will be processed securely. We accept all major credit cards. It’s at this stage where you’ll have several options to complete your book. Some are at no charge and some will have additional charges. Please make sure that you fill out all options correctly, pay for your book in full and send it to PRINT-IBLES. It’s that easy. You will have an additional option of purchasing other sizes of the same book at this time. If landscape, other sizes must also be landscape – same for portrait & square.
Your order will be processed and you will be send an email to confirm your order. PRINT-IBLES will produce your one-of-a-kind photo book or other quality products and it will be shipped within 2 working days from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, USA. Please choose shipping options by UPS or United Postal Services and you will be notified by e-mail, of shipping information upon completion of shipping. A tracking number will be sent if you ship by UPS.
